Our Wednesday night activities will now continue all year long, including summer break!

You can join us every Wednesday, 6:30-7:30 PM, unless otherwise specified.

FCOGA will be hosting a weekend women’s retreat this year and we are so excited about it! The retreat will take place at the NEO Church of God campgrounds (address above) September 25th and 26th. Ladies who would like to attend have the option of attending both days and staying at the retreat overnight, attending both days but not stay on site, or attending a single day. First Friday Bonfires are in full swing, but as seems to be the case every month this year, September’s will not be the first Friday. This month’s will be at Jimmy and Kristianna’s house on September 18th! If you are interested in hosting future fires, please reach out to Rick Close, our deacon of fellowship.

We are having a 5k fundraiser in order to begin to make improvements to Jericho Park that will benefit the entire community! Registration for the 5k includes the race, a t-shirt, a goodie bag, and taco-bar lunch. Cost is $50 until October 9th (price goes up to $60 and we can no longer guarantee a shirt). Runners and walkers welcome!

Not interested in walking or running? Register for the 0k! “Just Here for the Tacos 0k” is the opportunity to simply show up for the taco bar lunch. Same as with the 5k, all proceeds go toward improving Jericho Park. Registration for lunch is $15 and offers the option to purchase a special-edition 0k shirt for an additional $15. Merchandise will be available day-of, but the cost goes up to $20.

The Seniors of FCOGA have joined up and coined themselves JOY (Just Older Youth). And they’d love for YOU to join! Anyone 55+ is welcome each month. This month’s meeting will take place on September 26th at Dutch House in Columbiana. Please see Melody Ruble with any questions.
